Sometimes we just don't realise how lucky we are...

...and I was on a dumpy-downer day yesterday, so to wake up to the news of Japan being hit by a massive earthquake and then a Tsunami, well, things don't get any worse and my heart goes out to all those affected...I cannot begin to comprehend the state of devastation left by yet another natural disaster...
...I send love ♥...
...so after so much negativity on my part yesterday, I pulled myself together and have had a happy and productive day...2 loads of washing out on the line, my Christmas tree cut up, finally!...we thought that we might try and re-pot it for next Christmas, however as soon as I touched it, the needles fell!...some more weeding, a couple of dog walks, a couple of school runs, blitzed the house, clothes put away, and I'm feeling much better about things...amazing what a little sun and fresh air can do!...
...I also had a super couple of hours with my H/S family and took them to Tesco to do a large grocery shop, and back home and a mad juggle trying to get everything in the lift up to their flat!...even things like that I can take for granted...even though I volunteer and support families, I am actually in awe of just how they manage and how capable they are...never ceases to amaze me...
...SO, I have a weekend of football upon me, and my beloved Tudors is on again tomorrow night!...how fierce was I that it wasn't on last week...with no explanation!!!...hmm!...I have to pull my finger out and get a wriggle on making some more pretty things...slacked a little over the last few days!...and I have a stall coming up at the end of March...oh, and I MUST STOP! eating biscuits and cake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...
...have had some lovely deliveries this week...
...my felt necklaces and hair clips are proving quite popular, so got this to help me on my way to making a few more!...

...a beautiful present for my little nephew Jacob...courtesy of http://folksy.com/shops/clootielugs  (need to wrap and post asap...US postage is pants!!)...

...these lovely named jars are from http://folksy.com/shops/redbrickglass
...we are trying to teach the boys how to save money and watch their little pots grow!...hmmm!...
...and I have been particularly green fingered these last couple of days...and...I'm trying to grow a Hyacinth in a tea-cup...lets just see how it goes!...
...Hope you've all got some lovely plans for the weekend...
...let's hope that the sun continues to shine a little longer!...

Love those jars! Hope the boys manage to save, still trying to get that message across in my house! Your hyacinth looks cute in the teacup - I might give that a go myself, so pretty! Thanks for showing the book, here's hoping U.S mail does a good job!
