Please help!....

...if you can! Everyone has a dream right?...well mine is to set up a social enterprise where people with learning difficulties and disabilities can come to work, earn a wage and develop social skills and interaction in the process. Something where they can be as independent as is possible for them and work as a 'typical' person. It's been on my mind for some time and as my lovely boys get older, it is something that I have to think about a lot. The college that I work at is a good provision for those afore mentioned, however...what happens for them next? Where do they go? what can they do?...Some of our students excel academically, though lack social interaction and imagination which can have a knock on effect when it comes to employment. After watching a little of the Children in Need coverage last week, (can't watch too much, it makes me cry buckets!), almost every time  a video clip was played outlining how donated money was spent, securing settings and provisions, it was said that there were waiting lists for these fantastic places and there just isn't enough provisions around. So, back to my plea...if any of you know how to even start the process of setting something like this up, please contact me - I want to make my dream a reality and sooner rather than later!...thank you ♥

Ohhh I share the same hope. I find myself "fighting" for my students all the time...they have no one else and they are the nicest people ever. I am so lucky to be able to work with them xx
