....I cannot believe that 5 years have passed since this screaming little bundle was brought into the world; much has change, but the screaming remains a constant!! Sammy has had a wonderful day, he had lots of fun at school today, including wearing the birthday hat for the rest of the class to go onto sing Happy Birthday, and then it should be taken off....but Sammy, being Sammy, refused & went onto wear it until 3.15pm!...
He has had some lovely presents & Nana & Gigi remain consisitent with their noisy presents, this year, a toy electric guitar & microphone...lovely!
Sam also had some Moon Sand....excellent!! (think I'll have more fun with that than Sam!), he had a kettle & tea-set, an iron & ironing board (he's very domesticated...gets it from Mummy-Bird!!) & had a selection of his favourite books...Meg & Mog (shame on you if you don't remember them!!)
He was happy to see lots of bright coloured balloons around the house, although we had to put them up high as Jack is petrified of them...Sammy has got wise to this & likes to tease Jack...I have to try & hide my giggling at his cheekiness!! We had a lovely 'picnic tea', that is what Sammy requested & finished it off with a cuppa & some lovely birthday cake...
Then sat watching the snow fall, yet again (it's a pain in the wotsit but it does make everywhere look very beautiful).
Well, a little rest hopefully beckons for the weekend...let's hope so, it's been a busy week of meetings, agony auntying, meetings, home visits oh & a couple of meetings...sorry?, What spare time??? xxx
